This CBB is located at the end of Evergreen Street which starts at the Wholefoods of Miller Avenue. Next to the Marin Horizon School, this is a popular path for neighbors walking their dogs. It is one of the few CBB’s in Mill Valley that has survived the corporate rush to “glass”, eliminate or regulate CBB’s. I still prefer a business that encourages openness, community and authenticity by supporting CBB’s instead of a corporate exclusivity.

This CBB has just gone up recently. I have put posters in Bette’s Flicks down the street who is a friend and she has turned me on to many new leads. I have a good feeling about his new board, as it is on a popular walkway between shops, and the grocery store.

This is undoubtedly the best CBB in my West Marin circuit. This busy market has tons of foot traffic and two CBB’s. Outside the left CBB, is a place for folks to lounge and eat what they just bought. I’ve had fantastic results at Woodlands and it is really one of my favorite markets as I’ve met many new customers personally. I always am excited to see results here when I re-post and I’m never disappointed….

I must have passed this CBB 25 times….It is right out front. I will have to be back with more research as this CBB folds out. I must say that Ross really works hard at trying to create a small town feel and I think their open CBB policy is really helping the city retain it’s back in time quality, where life slows down, and everyone is not always on their cell phones…instead, you find people really look you in the eye and say …”Hello…”

This is a very good location, and it has two CBB’s. The Ross Post Office is a real fine place to engage new customers personally. I’ve had several people ask about my posters as I was hanging them here and it resulted in a confirmed lead turning to a job. Across from the park, It always has traffic in and out. CBB etiquette is important here as I’ve had mine taken down, for having posted on both.

This has always been one of my favorite CBB’s because I got an immediate response when I first postered here. It is located way in the back, before the restrooms, an ideal hang-out spot with people also coming in from the Bolinas Street entrance, you are literally likely to bump into someone. The Coffee Roastery chain can be proud of the fact that they encourage the value of open CBB’s, while other chain operations “glass” a CBB, making it regulated.

Located inside on you way to the restrooms, This CBB is hidden, but perused by many and seen immediately by the customers entering the screen door on Bolinas Road instead of Broadway. This is a very popular location in Faifax and there are signs of real committed community activity postered all over, with racks of free periodicals everywhere.

This CBB is obscured in the corner outside the market. Uncovered, it is weathered and wooden, but my intuition tells me this is an active board, and recently I’ve had good pulled stubs results. What I like is that there is always a few picnickers eating on the tables and gazing at the CBB, and cars lined up to enter naturally guide ones eyes to it.

This two sided CBB has good kharma. One of my favorite jokes was perpertuated at the spot. When I made copies of my posters, the copy machine spit out a blank sheet that was cut to provide the poster stubs. When I came across this blank sheet. I simply wrote “Take One” and placed it here one week. When I returned a week later, several of the stubs had been taken. I pray that someone got the joke, instead of thinking someone was just obedient robot…..

There is little traffic here during the day but this CBB is placed where everyone can see it as they pick-up munchies for the night. The board is placed in such a direction as it is in perfect view as drivers wait for the pizza pickup’s with lights on to view the CBB. It is a spirited board with lots of Hippie ephemera tacked on with beads and safety pins.
